Lunar
Prospector Status Report #28
April 16, 1998 - 12:00
midnight GMT
NOTE: There was no status report last week.
The Lunar Prospector spacecraft continues to perform well and all
instruments continue to collect good data.
The attitude data has been reprocessed, verifying that the last
two maneuvers have executed as planned. The reason for the
conflicting attitude data was that the effects of gravity
gradient on the attitude had not been accounted for. The attitude
model is being updated to include that effect. The next attitude
reorientation is scheduled for 4/27.
