Welcome to the GRX mailing list!

Please save this message for future reference.

This unmoderated mailing list is intended for users and developers of GRX, a graphics library published under the conditions of the GNU LGPL. GRX was originally written by Csaba Biegl, has been developed further by Hartmut Schirmer and is now maintained by Sven Hilscher.

The address of the list is grx@gnu.de. Topics are discussions on GRX, bug reports and providing help for GRX users.

Subscribe / unsubscribe:

To subscribe or unsubscribe, send e-mail to majordomo@gnu.de. Majordomo is a perl script that executes commands given in the body of your mail.
The subject of the mail will be ignored.

* To subscribe, write:
subscribe grx me@somewhere.net
in the body of your mail, where <me@somewhere.net> has to be replaced by your e-mail address. If this last argument is omitted, the sender's
address will be subscribed to the list. Upon receiving your request, majordomo will mail you a "magic number". Send another subscription request and include the number to eventually subscribe you to the list. This procedure is to ensure that nobody will be subscribed by error who doesn't want to be in.

* To unsubscribe, write accordingly:
unsubscribe grx me@somewhere.net in the body of your mail (with <me@somewhere.net> replaced by your e-mail address).

* If you want to know more about majordomo, write: help
This will retrieve a list of all possible commands.

If you need to contact a human, e-mail owner-grx@gnu.de.

How to reply to e-mails received from the GRX mailing list:

You can send a private comment to the author, or reply to all members of the list. The functions may be named differently according to your mail reader. The following holds true for elm:

* If you hit "r" for "reply", you will send a private comment to the author.
* If you hit "g" for "group reply" (also "reply to all" in other mail programs), your reply will go back to the list to be forwarded to all. The original author gets an extra copy of your reply.

Netiquette:

* All contributions should be in English language.
* grx@gnu.de is a text-only list. Please do not use MIME or HTML mail, only plain text.
* Do not send large messages to grx@gnu.de; instead, please send large patches directly to the GRX maintainer or make them publicly available at your site.
